Awards and Activities
- Amy was awarded the OWIT Member of the Year for 2005, and has been active on the OWIT International Board of Directors since 2000.
- She was a 2002 recipient of the NYWA “Woman of the Future” Award.
- Amy has been invited to be a frequent speaker concerning customs, FTA and IP issues by the US Department of State, International Visitors Leadership Program for visitors from government agencies in countries such as Australia, China and Thailand.
- Amy co-authored A Brief Summary of Customs & Trade Issues for Corporate Counsel, which appeared in The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel magazine in June 2005.
- Amy has spoken for various organizations including the American Conference Institute and the American Chambers of Commerce in Australia and Thailand on issues including: Taking Advantage of the NAFTA, Tariff Classification: Harmonization Initiatives & Global Strategies, A Practical Guide to the Australia-US and Thailand-US FTAs, and Classification & Country of Origin Compliance.
- She has served as an instructor for the World Trade Institute, lecturing on customs compliance issues.
- Amy is a member of the ABA, the NYSBA and the Customs and International Trade Bar Association.
